Dr. Tirth Patel

Dr. Tirth Patel is an ophthalmologist and eye surgeon, and co-founder of Sattva Eye Care. He also founded Shree Eye and Dental Hospital, Ahmedabad, in 2015.

Educational Background and Training

Dr. Patel completed his MBBS from Kesar Sal & B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad (Gujarat University) in 2010. He pursued his DNB in Ophthalmology from the National Board of Examination, India, in 2013. Further enhancing his expertise, he completed a fellowship in Phacoemulsification and Refractive Surgery at Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore, in 2014.

Professional Experience

After his fellowship, Dr. Patel contributed as a phaco refractive surgeon at Eye Care Hospital and Vallabha Eye Hospital. He also served as the chief eye surgeon at Sant Ram Trust Hospital in Umreth. In 2015, he established Shree Eye and Dental Hospital, aiming to provide comprehensive eye care services. Recognizing the need for accessible eye care, he co-founded Sattva Eye Care in Ahmedabad.

Dr. Patel specializes in sutureless cataract surgery and refractive procedures, including LASIK eye surgery. His services encompass 2.2 mm phaco surgery for cataract, laser vision correction, and management of retinal diseases. Areas of practice: phacoemulsification cataract surgery (2.2 mm incision), refractive surgery including LASIK at Sattva Eye Care, glaucoma evaluation and treatment, and evaluation of retinal disease.
